Q: How often do you recommend that
our home get checked?
A: We strongly recommend a weekly visit. Too many things
can happen in Florida, especially in the summer, if
a home is not regularly checked. Remember this, in the
right environment mold can grow and multiply and take
over a whole room in a matter of days. Those of us who
are in this business have lots of heart breaking stories
of damaged homes or condos because a problem hadn’t
been caught while it still was correctable.
Q: Will I get a discount on my homeowners insurance if
I have a service like yours?
A: Ask your agent about the provisions in your particular
policy but yes, more and more companies recognize that
problems caught and fixed early in the process save them
money in the long run and they have been providing discounts
to homeowners who have a home watch service.
Q: What happens if a problem is discovered?
A: After we’ve documented the problem with pictures
and discussed the situation with you, we call on our wide-ranging
teams of vendors and suppliers to get the problem fixed.
In our experience we have encountered fires, floods, mold,
security breaches, wind damage, plumbing problems, rodent
problems, pool, cage, roof… well, pretty much anything
you can think of, we have probably experienced it and have
a solid rolodex of folks who can handle any problem that
comes our way.
Q: What’s your territory?
A: We have expanded our staff and now cover Lakewood Ranch
and Communities east of I-75, South of Clark Road, including
Casey Key, Nokomis, The Oaks, Rivendell, parts of Venice,
all the keys, Anna Maria, St. Armand’s, as well
